Midwife
Referral for antenatal care is via your GP. The antenatal clinic is held every Tuesday morning and alternate Wednesday mornings
Health Visitor
The health vistor provides child development checks and pre-school drop-in clinics at Harvey Road every Tuesday: 9.30 am - 11.30 am, and at Shirley Road every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month: 9.30 am - 11.30 am
The health visitor also offers advices on diet and feeding, sleep problems, behaviour problems, play & early learning, safety in the home, toilet training, bed-wetting and child protection.

Podiatry
This service is restricted to certain high-risk groups e.g. diabetes and circulatory problems, and is held at Richmond Primary Care Centre, Bordesley Green East, Stechford.
Physiotherapist
Referral is by your doctor.
Drug Misuse Worker
On site service provided in association with Dr Jones and Dr Schuppler. Referral is by your doctor.
Drug Worker clinics on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Diabetic Annual Reviews
Dr. Patel, Dr. Schuppler & Practice Nurses perform annual reviews by appointment. You will receive a postal invitation.
Coronary Heart Disease Annual Reviews
The practice nurses perform these by appointment. You will receive a postal invitation.
Asthma Annual Reviews
These are performed by Nurse Beverley Evans and Nurse Vivienne Waterer, aiming to improve asthma control.
Joint Injections
Injections into various joints to relieve pain are available from your doctor.
Minor Surgery
Referral is by your Doctor.
Contraception
All forms of contraception are available except caps and diaphragms. Emergency contraception should be requested as soon as possible (morning after pill within 24 hours, but up to 72 hours) – contact Primecare at the weekend.
Smoking Cessation Service
Counselling and medication is available to support your attempt to stop smoking. It is important to keep your appointments for the full course of treatment. Make an appointment when you feel ready to stop smoking.
