Swanswell Patients Voice

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) at Swanswell Medical Centre is an award-winning patient volunteer group.  Achievements have included: contributing to the design of the current appointment system; involvement with improvements made to the waiting room, including the introduction of the touch screen check-in system; assisting with the re-design of the practice leaflet; improving the practice website; improving access for patients who work; improving access to support services for carers; community outreach and organising patient education meetings.
 
The aim of the PPG is to promote and develop an effective, constructive and inclusive partnership between patients and the practice, that improves the quality of services and the setting in which care is provided. 
 
Swanswell Medical Centre is dedicated to giving the best possible service to their patients and welcomes constructive comments to make further improvements.
