Abusive Behaviour Policy - The NHS operate a zero tolerance policy with regard to violence and abuse and the practice has the right to remove violent patients from the list with immediate effect in order to safeguard practice staff, patients and other persons. Violence in this context includes actual or threatened physical violence or verbal abuse which leads to fear for a person’s safety.
All staff in this Practice have the right to do their work in an environment free from violent, threatening or abusive behaviour and everything will be done to protect this right. If you do not respect the rights of our staff we may choose to inform the police and make arrangements for you to be removed from our medical list.

Patient Feedback - We make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice.
We always welcome positive feedback!! This reassures us that we are providing the level of service that we want to our patients. Likewise if we have not managed to get things exactly right let us know so we can review our policies. Please leave a comment.

End of life care - We work closely with other services to help support people and their families at this very difficult time. Together as a team we work with individuals and their families to address physical, emotional, social, spiritual and financial issues.
The core team includes a GP, District Nurse and MacMillan Nurse.
Please book with your GP if you or someone you care for needs help now.

Patient Participation Group - Do you have ideas for improving services in the practice? Are there services you would like to see available? Do you have any skills/hidden talents that would benefit the practice? We are relaunching our patient participation group. The patient group is open to any registered patient to join, and is your opportunity to help develop and shape local health services by giving us your views. The group would meet periodically no more than two or three times a year. If you feel you have something to offer please contact the surgery (insert contact number) and ask to speak to our practice manager, Julie Sutcliffe.
